Tea of the week 13th-17th July




Every day we introduce new teas to our customers. Here are a selection of the teas that we have put out this week: 



Queen MaryQueen Mary English Tea 

Our Queen Mary English tea is a historical blend of teas from some of the very best tea estates across the globe. This blend commemorates the golden days of ocean liners, luxury and a fine cup of tea on deck while sailing the high seas.

We combine teas from Assam, the Nilgiri Hills of South India, the Dimbula district of Sri Lanka and the Nandi Highlands of Kenya. This is a Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe grade loose leaf black tea. In cup the liquor is bright and coppery with a malty depth and floral notes. 



Night of the Iguana Beligian Chocolate ChaiNight of the Iguana Chocolate Chai 

Night of the Iguana Belgian chocolate chai is a remarkable new chai tea using a blend of black teas from Sri Lanka and India. To this we add exotic spices from the south Indian Malabar coast with sensuous notes of Belgian chocolate.

This Orthodox Orange Pekoe flavoured chai loose leaf tea takes its name from the Tennessee Williams play “The Night of the Iguana”. In cup the colour is bright and coppery with golden highlights.




Welsh TeaWelsh Breakfast Tea 

After much demand we have blended up this very fine breakfast tea to compliment our English, Irish and Scottish breakfast teas. This is a blend of our single estate Assam house tea and an orthodox Kenyan leaf tea. The rich malty character of the Assam blends perfectly with bright and fruity notes of the Kenya tea to create this special Welsh tea blend. 





Lucky Dragon Hyson Green TeaLucky Dragon Green Sencha Tea

Our lucky dragon tea is a fine quality Young Hyson grade Chinese green tea. Traditionally manufactured this tea is non fermented and is only produced in small crafted batches.

A full of flavour tea with notes of pine when brewed. In cup the liquor is a bright pale yellow colour with a rich heavenly aroma.
