New Darjeelings!

Darjeeling Highlands Silver Tip SFTGFOP1

This 1st flush Darjeeling is a late harvest but it was definitely worth waiting for! Its bright champagne liquor is a credit to the high-quality taste from this tea. A fresh, fruit and nutty blend of aroma and flavour with grassy notes and crisp tones. A very light black tea, it best served on its own to appreciate it’s full body and nutty flavour.

Grown in the highland area of the Longview Estate, a picturesque hilly landscape with tea plantations as far as the eye can see! The hills and valleys feel reminiscent of the Scottish Highlands and you can see why the Scots preferred Darjeeling during the British Raj!

Best brewed for 2 minutes, this is a very light tea and we would suggest to drink it as it is to enjoy the body and freshness.

Darjeeling Tea Marybong 2nd Flush

With a stronger body in comparison to the highlands Darjeeling, this deep, nutty tea is a favourite in the office. Maybe it is something to do with the story on the Marybong Estate- originally known as Kyel Estate, the owners bought the Linga Estate as a gift to their daughter as a wedding gift. Marybong literally trans to Mary’s Place in Lepcha. It is said to be the most picturesque estate by experts that have visited.

This is a fuller, tea in comparison to the highlands. Best brewed for 2-2.30 minutes and can be taken with milk, although we would suggest to enjoy this tea black to fully enjoy its full flavour.
