Kenya Lelsa and Kosabei

Lelsa FBOP

Kenya Lelsa FBOP

The Kenyan Lelsa tea estate has been producing tea for over 60 years and is situated in the Kericho district east of the rift valley. The Lelsa estate is at an altitude of over 5500 feet and has a very rich, fertile soil profile producing some of Kenya’s best quality teas and is especially famous for its white teas. This black tea production is a Flowery Broken Orange Pekoe of very good quality with a floral character with a coppery coloured liquor and notes of  jam, a very pleasant smooth tea.

Brew with boiling water and infuse for 3 to 5 minutes.

Kosabei TGFOP

Kenya Koasbei TGFOP

The Kenya tea estate of Kosabei lies in the Nandi highlands at an altitude of over 5500 feet. Kosabei has a great reputation for producing top quality high grown orthodox loose leaf teas and this production is a Tippy Golden Flowery Orange Pekoe grade tea.

The golden colour in cup is bright and coppery with a fine deep malty character with notes of toffee. This tea makes an excellent self-drinker but also takes milk extremely well. A classic leafy orthodox Kenyan tea which we highly recommend!

Brew with boiling water and infuse for 3 to 5 minutes
