Darjeeling Rohini Green Tea

This Darjeeling green loose leaf tea is from the Rohini tea estate situated in the Kurseong valley of Darjeeling. Between 1962 and 1994, the Rohini Tea Estate was closed due to the creation of the military camp during the Indochina War. Once it had turned back into a tea garden, it was ready to be harvested in 2000. This is known as a very young estate which produces fine, fresh and vibrant tea.

This lovely green tea has fresh and light notes with muscatel overtones. It also has many nutritional components, such as polyphenols, caffeine and catechins. But it also has effective health functions, such as lowering blood sugar levels and promoting digestion as well as a high medicinal value and is used as both a beverage and a medicine in China.

A lovely fresh tea to drink any time of the day!
